The collections include outstanding works by Maori and Pacific Island artists, as well as European painting, sculpture and prints. The Main Gallery and the New Gallery are located on opposite sides of Kitchener Strett. A public gallery, it exhibits work from its collections along with a programme of national and international touring exhibitions.
