After graduating from the Wellington School of Design in the late eighties, figurative artist Crispin Korschen began her career as a free lance illustrator. The New Zealand born artist Peter Waddell, has been living and painting in Washington D.C. for over ten years.
Peter is featured in a live podcast from the White House Historical Association which discusses his recent paintings that depict the long-lost White House decorated by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 19th Century.

The council-supported Northart Community Arts Centre in the Northcote Town Centre, focuses on visual arts. The exhibition gallery has changing exhibitions which highlight the diverse range of art forms created by artists living in North Shore City and elsewhere in New Zealand.
