The Auckland Gallery Guide is Aucklands only guide to visual art galleries available both online & as a printed brochure. Established in 1996 by [Christopher Johnstone of] Johnstone Associates, Auckland, the ownership of The Auckland Gallery Guide was acquired by Jill Godwin, its designer, in 2001. The longevity of Guide is a testament to the ongoing support of the subscribing galleries.

We offer three gallery subscriptions to the printed guide (call Jill Godwin on (09) 360 5558):

C Five line bi-monthly changing exhibition listing subscription - $650.00 + GST per year
U Three line unchanging listing with gallery description - $408.00 + GST per year
L Single line location only listing - $180.00 + GST per year

All subscriptions include a page on this website at no extra cost, see links above. Printed copies of the guide may be obtained from subscribing galleries or visitor information centres in Queen Street, Skycity, Takapuna, Devonport & Howick. A PDF of the guide listings can be downloaded here & a copy of the map here.

Non-subscribing galleries (N) are included on the precinct (central, parnell, newmarket, northshore, devonport, east, west) pages with street name only.
